We are looking for dedicated and experienced officials to ensure fair and high-quality gameplay throughout the tournament.

Whether you're a seasoned Head Referee or a Flag Runner looking to gain more experience, this is your chance to be part of the biggest IQA World Cup yet!

Practical Information

​

By applying, you put yourself forward as a candidate for selection, but submitting does not guarantee a spot at the event. 

​

Our team will carefully review all applications and select officials based on experience, availability, and event needs.
If selected, you'll contribute to the world's most prestigious quadball tournament. 

​

All officials must be certified for the IQA Rulebook 2024 before July 10th, 2025.

 

Per game officiated, an official will receive 5 EUR. 
Due to the Belgian laws about expense allowance for volunteering, an official will receive maximum 126 EUR for the whole tournament. 

 

Non-Playing Officials may be eligible for several perks. Every non-playing official will receive a lunch package for every tournament day. Additionally, during the application process, you will be asked to select three perks and rank them by priority. Based on availability, you will be assigned two of your selected perks.

Timeline

​

• April 3rd, 2025: Deadline for guaranteed consideration of non-playing officials.

• April 17th, 2025: Decision emails sent to those who applied before April 3. 

• April 17th onwards: Applications reviewed on a rolling basis, with decisions sent as soon as possible. 

• June 1st, 2025: Deadline to apply if you wish to receive volunteer perks.

• June 26th, 2025: Schedule closing date for applications. May close earlier if all officials are selected. 

• July 3rd, 2025: Final decision emails sent.
